Sensory Quiet Mornings at Hardys Animal Farm
On selected dates throughout the season we are holding sensory quiet mornings with the aim to provide a quieter Hardy’s Animal Farm experience that aims to provide a more comfortable visit for those with autism and other sensory requirements.
What’s different?
Sessions are only available to book online, meaning no long queueing for your visit.
Sensory Quiet Morning sessions have been specially chosen to offer a more comfortable visit at quieter times of the season.
Adjusts are made around the farm park including:
- No music playing in play barn or café
- Low lights in the play barn
- Paper towels/blue roll near hand dryers
When booking your session you will receive an email containing a ‘Farm Sensory Story’ explaining in basic detail what you can expect at the farm during their visit and a map of the farm. Our aim is that those with sensory requirements will know exactly what to expect prior to their visit.
How to book?
Tickets can be booked in exactly the same way as our general admission tickets by clicking the book now button.
In order to receive the sensory story and additional information you need to make sure that you purchase the sensory morning tickets, there is no difference in cost for this.
When you arrive at the animal farm entrance, just show your confirmation email to our staff member and they will scan you in. You are then welcome to enjoy your visit around the farm.
